Kylie Watkins joined the Langshaw and Bell Shire Group in 1995. She completed her B.Optom (Hons) at UNSW in 1993. Kylie commenced her career in Western Australia where she worked in both city and country practices developing a wide range of skills. Kylie has been a long term resident of the Shire and now enjoys delivering back to her loyal patients with professionalism and dedication. Kylie is married with twins and enjoys Surfing and walking

This took place under the supervision of Stephen Langshaw at the Gymea practice of Shire Optometrists. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Optometry with Honours Class 1 and the University Medal at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). An interest in managing eye disease saw him return to UNSW to complete a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics. This allows him to treat patients with prescription medication for conditions ranging from sore and red eyes to glaucoma. He is currently involved in the education of future optometrists in his position of Clinical Supervisor at UNSW. He oversees optometry students examine the eyes of patients in the final years of their degree at the university clinic.
