EasyCheck-ins gives practices tools to allow patients to check themselves in for their appointments quickly and easily.
Using either the patient's own mobile device, they can scan a QR code, or click a link within an SMS message, or utilise a physical kiosk within the practice where a patient can swipe their Medicare card, EasyCheck-ins clears up front desk congestion and allowing your front desk staff to spend their time with the patients who need that personal touch.

The EasyCheck-ins Mobile platform allows patients to check in using a mobile phone. This solution offers two forms of check in for practices - QR code and GPS location based. Scanning a QR code in the waiting room allows patients to check in without having to visit the front desk. If a practice uses the GPS location based check in option, patients are sent an SMS containing a check in URL that enables them to check in for their appointment as soon as they are in range of the practice (default 500m).
Swipe & Check-in
The EasyCheck-in kiosk connects patient appointments with their Medicare number, so all they have to do is swipe their Medicare card and confirm their details to mark themselves as arrived in your PMS. If the patient doesn’t have a Medicare card, they can check in by entering a few details on the screen to identify themselves, before confidentially confirming their contact details.
Update Patient Details
No matter if a practice choses to use a physical kiosk or the mobile app, EasyCheck-ins ensures patient contact details are up to date by showing the patient a semi-redacted view (to protect their privacy) of their address and contact number and asks them to confirm they are correct. If not, the patient is directed to the front desk to update their contact details.
Track Their Place in the Queue
It is one of the most common questions patients ask your busy front desk staff when arriving at a practice “how many patients are ahead of me?”. Now, every patient that checks in via the MyHealth1st EasyCheckin Kiosk is advised how many patients are ahead of them to see their doctor ensuring expectations are suitably managed.
COVID-19 Safety Matters!
The MyHealth1st EasyCheckin Kiosk is made of hospital grade glass and materials, and can be cleaned with alcohol for added safety and infection control. The EasyCheck-ins mobile app features COVID-19 screening during the check in process that halts the check in process and directs patients to call the practice if they are experiencing any related symptoms.
Free Up Your Front Desk
There will always be patients who need more time on the phone or at the front desk with your staff.
